Ratio: We maintain a 1:5 educator-to-child ratio.
Staff: All staff are First Aid/CPR certified with clean police record checks.
Injuries: We have clear procedures for non-serious and serious injuries, including completing incident reports and contacting parents and/or 911 when necessary.
Emergencies: We have an emergency evacuation procedure to move children to a safe muster point and conduct headcounts. We also have protocols for encounters with aggressive animals or unknown persons.

Drop-off and pick-up are at the same designated location in the park. You must sign your child in and out with an educator each day. If someone else is picking up your child, you must notify us via email in advance, and they will need to show government-issued ID.

We use a private Slack channel to share important updates, photos, and moments from the day. This allows you to check in without disrupting the group's flow. Direct or urgent communication should be sent to our email or phone.

Children must be able to carry their own small backpack. Please label all items.
Packed snacks and lunch
A non-leak water bottle
Weather-appropriate outdoor wear (e.g., Muddy Buddy/raincoat)
Sunscreen and a hat
A spare pair of socks and underwear

To keep our community healthy, children must stay home if they show exclusionary symptoms like fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or a prominent chest cough with green/yellow discharge.
Common Cold: Children may return 24 hours after symptoms end. A clear runny nose is acceptable.
Gastrointestinal Illness: Children may return 48 hours after the last symptom.
Head Lice: Children may return after their first anti-lice hair treatment.
Highly Contagious Diseases: We may request a doctor's note before a child returns.

Parents can consent to or restrict photos/videos of their children on the participation waiver. Any photos or videos used for marketing or shared on Slack are non-identifying (no faces or distinct features). We ask that parents do not post any photos from the private Slack channel to their personal social media.
